Since 2015, the idea of workshop organized by students for the students has been growing. In 2016, we are pleased to announce that 1st European Doctoral Workshop on Engineering Applications and Challenges (ENAC) will be held at the University of Zielona Góra on 16-17.06.2016. ENAC will bring together doctoral students working within the areas of control engineering, computer science as well as related branches of engineering and enable them to participate in discussions with renowned European scientists. In particular, one of the objectives is to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas in order to strengthen the collaboration between the students. A secondary objective of the Workshop is to bring the industry closer to the academia and vice versa by providing a forum for a mutual exchange of knowledge, theory and practice. Apart from the plenary sessions, the students being engineers of the future Europe will also have a unique possibility to present their engineering achievements for both academics and the industry.
Note that the main focus on ENAC is on engineering applications, particularly focused (but not limited) on:
- identification, modelling and simulation
- signal processing
- control and systems theory
- robotics
- intelligent systems and methods
- control systems
- electrical engineering
- mechanical engineering
